2 double rooms both with ensuites
We have 2 double rooms both with ensuites and private entrance. One of which has wheelchair access. Our breakfasts are much recommended and include freshly baked rolls and bread and local produce. They are very popular. The views of the area are stunning and there are decks all around the house where you can enjoy bush or seaviews, sunset or sunrise or just sit and read a book. Eat at the nearby Tavern or Cafes, bring your own food and use our BBQ or heat something up in the guests kitchenette. The choice is yours. Our website provides many pictures of Totaranui - the accommodation, the bush, the walk to the stream and the friendly chickens and some suggestions of what you can do in this fantastic area, east of Whangarei. Our rooms are cosy and very comfortable, and the atmosphere at Totaranui is relaxed and informal, so please come and join us. We are just 18 km from Whangarei and 15 from Ocean Beach, the tip of Whangarei Heads. | ||||||
An undiscovered Paradise
Most people have no idea that the area east of Whangarei is one of the most beautiful areas in Northland. We have it all: beaches of every imaginable kind, fantastic fishing, caves, giant Kauris, treetop walks, wonderful walks and climbs, lovely cafes and good eating places, boating, diving ....the ony thing we don't have is crowds!Totaranui lies smack in the middle of this paradise and nothing is more than a few minutes away by car.
